![]() ![]() I saw that she friended this guy on snap chat back in January and had messages recently (all deleted of course). ![]() It’s not right, but I’ve been checking her phone when she isn’t aware. I’ve lately been struggling with bad feelings that something was going on. I’ve never trusted her fully since then even though things have been better. She swore she loved me and it was due to us having some relationship trouble and liking the attention. I remember my watch warning me that my heart rate was suddenly at an unsafe level in the middle of it. This summary doesn’t really do it justice how tense and hurtful this whole thing was for me. Long story short, I confronted her about everything I knew and with some initial lying about the nature of their relationship, she tearfully admitted that she had been having flirtatious texts with him that were inappropriate. I was able to see that indeed she had been messaging this guy using secret messages. My wife and I had recently bought new iPhones so I powered on her old one and opened facebook. Late last year, I was Facebook messaged by some random woman telling me that her ex boyfriend was having an affair with my wife and using secret Facebook messages to communicate (she apparently caught him). ![]() If you or someone you know is involved in an abusive relationship or would like information on warning signs to watch out for, check out The Red Flag Campaign.
